A magical garden celebration out in The Berkshires.... From day one of planning I knew this wedding would be an absolute stunner. Filled with beautiful details that the couple collaborated on. From the champagne reception in the courtyard of the Edith Wharton Estate to the intimate and floral filled garden ceremony, and finally the decadent dinner underneath the stars. This was a wedding meant to remembered for all time! For this wedding we worked tirelessly on a fully covered chuppah to surround the couple in elegance, while carrying the elegant garden feel through to the champagne reception. Guests were then led into the tent with hanging greens between chandeliers, and lush tablescapes … [Read more...]
The Liberty Hotel – Blush and Burgundy Elegance
The Liberty Hotel - Blush and Burgundy Elegance This beautiful fall wedding at The Liberty Hotel in Boston was such a treat to design for. The client loved the look of hanging, draping florals, but due to the logistics, we weren't able to suspend anything from the ceiling...enter in a lot of trust, problem solving, and a total showstopper of a floral showcase when guests entered the ballroom. A big thank you to The Liberty Hotel, for always being an amazing venue and host for our floral designs, and to Todd Wilson Images, for capturing this magical day! … [Read more...]
Alden Castle, October 29
In October we had the pleasure of doing Allison and Keith's flowers for their big day! Allison's bouquet was tight and rounded, with white hydrangeas, blush spray roses, Queen Anne's Lace, peach garden roses, burgundy dahlias and calla lilies, accented with peach hypericum berries, thistle, and a touch of salal greenery. They walked down a petal-lined aisle and stood under our dark wooden chuppah, which was adorned with flowing salal greenery and blush and burgundy florals. It made the perfect backdrop! The romantic, soft centerpieces were comprised of complementing blush, peach, and burgundy flowers and stood in low fairytale compotes surrounded by votives. Thanks so much to Caroline Talbot … [Read more...]
Behind the Scenes at Mandarin Oriental Boston
Do you remember the last time you attended a wedding in which both the ceremony and reception took place in the same ballroom and wondered to yourself "How do they transform the room in a cocktail's time?" This past Labor Day weekend Poppy Floral teamed up with LoLo Event Design to turn a couple's wedding dreams into reality and it required a speedy, extensive "room flip" during cocktail hour. Little did our wedding guests know the Poppy Floral team had been hiding behind the drapes, ready to roll as soon as the ceremony ended and the last guest had left to enjoy a celebratory cocktail. Much thanks to LoLo Event Design, Gateway Productions and the staff at Mandarin Oriental for impeccable … [Read more...]

Harvard University
Mia & Glenn married just steps away from where they first met, tying the knot in the Knafel Center at Harvard University. What was once an old gym, the room became transformed by over 1,500 red roses in dramatic displays down their long reception tables. We loved the use of a singular flower to create an incredible statement throughout the event, showing that the simplest of ideas, when well executed, create a stunning effect.
