Garden Glam at The Mount, Lenox MA

A magical garden celebration out in The Berkshires.... From day one of planning I knew this wedding would be an absolute stunner. Filled with beautiful details that the couple collaborated on. From the champagne reception in the courtyard of the Edith Wharton Estate to the intimate and floral filled garden ceremony, and finally the decadent dinner underneath the stars.  This was a wedding meant to remembered for all time! For this wedding we worked tirelessly on a fully covered chuppah to surround the couple in elegance, while carrying the elegant garden feel through to the champagne reception.  Guests were then led into the tent with hanging greens between chandeliers, and lush tablescapes … [Read more...]

Harvard Club Elegance

We made it! Halfway through 2019! After 4 weddings this weekend, and helping a buddy with a 5th, I'm feeling slightly rested, and ready to start blogging some of these lovelies. Let's start with our first wedding of the year. M & J are one of the sweetest couples, and I was so excited to get going with the season, and couldn't wait to hand over their colorful yet elegant florals. The bride loved deep purple tones, with soft touches of lavender to still keep it spring like, while adding in a lush red to celebrate her Chinese heritage. Dramatic purple hydrangea were paired with more delicate spring florals of lilac and tulips to create a stunning backdrop for th e celebration. A big … [Read more...]

The Liberty Hotel – Blush and Burgundy Elegance

The Liberty Hotel - Blush and Burgundy Elegance This beautiful fall wedding at The Liberty Hotel in Boston was such a treat to design for. The client loved the look of hanging, draping florals, but due to the logistics, we weren't able to suspend anything from the ceiling...enter in a lot of trust, problem solving, and a total showstopper of a floral showcase when guests entered the ballroom. A big thank you to The Liberty Hotel, for always being an amazing venue and host for our floral designs, and to Todd Wilson Images, for capturing this magical day! … [Read more...]

Poppy Floral will be on newsstands in The Knot!

Be sure to grab the latest copy of The Knot New England, this beautiful event we worked on is featured! Set on the Washburn Pavilion at the Museum of Science in Boston, the industry event was created by an incredible team for weddings couples and industry professionals to enjoy on a late summer evening. we originally started out with our main floral display elevated 36" above the table, but 10 minutes before the event began, the wind has other plans! We did a quick re-do, and made it the most decked out table garland ever! It's easy to look good when everything goes perfect, but it takes a real team of professionals to adjust when nature has other plans...Never a dull moment! If you're … [Read more...]

Alden Castle, October 29

Image by Caroline Talbot Photography | ctalbotphoto.com

In October we had the pleasure of doing Allison and Keith's flowers for their big day! Allison's bouquet was tight and rounded, with white hydrangeas, blush spray roses, Queen Anne's Lace, peach garden roses, burgundy dahlias and calla lilies, accented with peach hypericum berries, thistle, and a touch of salal greenery. They walked down a petal-lined aisle and stood under our dark wooden chuppah, which was adorned with flowing salal greenery and blush and burgundy florals. It made the perfect backdrop! The romantic, soft centerpieces were comprised of complementing blush, peach, and burgundy flowers and stood in low fairytale compotes surrounded by votives. Thanks so much to Caroline Talbot … [Read more...]

The Bradley Estate, August 13

Wedding Reception Flowers Poppy Floral

What a fun day to set up for! Dan and Avery's wedding had so many thoughtfully beautiful touches - from the greenery accents in various spots throughout the ceremony and reception, to the wooden arch that made the perfect backdrop while they said "I do." Gorgeous flowing garlands of eucalyptus, roses, and dahlias served as centerpieces along with tall candles for the reception tables. Avery's bouquet was so bright and sunny, featuring rich pink and tangerine roses, white anemones, and light pink astilbe. We were so happy with how everything turned out! Moraine Farm, August 28

Mikhail Glabets Photography

We were delighted to be part of Adi and Adam's special day this past August! Their choice of sunny, colorful florals were a lovely complement to the always beautiful Moraine Farm. Adi's bouquet was naturally-styled and filled with lively dahlias, summery wax flower, textured thistle, a touch of white ranunculus and flowing eucalyptus. The chuppah was adorned with seeded eucalyptus, cream spray roses and big, gorgeous dahlias. It was the perfect backdrop for their outdoor ceremony! For the reception, which was also outside under a tent, we placed natural, flowing pieces with bright dahlias, daisies and ranunculus in rustic wooden containers. All of our pieces came together so nicely and … [Read more...]

Endicott Estate, July 30

Thielly and Eric's big day gave us yet another opportunity to showcase our beautiful wooden arch, decorated with cascading greenery and accent florals. It was perfect for the natural, flowing look that they wanted! The reception was totally unique, featuring dinner tables throughout all the different rooms of the estate. Some tables were accented with gorgeous garland of seeded eucalyptus and dreamy votives; others with bright arrangements in highlighting blush and deep pink florals. Our large, flowing arrangements which stood on pedestals welcomed guests with a pop of color contrasted with soft greenery - they really stood out against Endicott Estate's beautiful dark wood decor! We were … [Read more...]

Boston Public Library, June 11

Centerpieces For Weddings

To complement this gorgeous reception space in the Boston Public Library, we had a variety of high and low centerpieces containing a variety of cream, blush, and light lavender-colored florals. The high centerpieces were especially striking against the rich dark decor of the Library, standing on gold fairytale pedestals and featuring flowing eucalyptus accents. The bouquets featured peonies, garden roses, and blushing brides in a variety of creams and blush, as well as dusty miller and silver dollar eucalyptus to add just the right touch of texture. All of the floral elements came together to create the classic English garden look that the stunning couple wanted. We felt so lucky to help … [Read more...]

The Liberty Hotel, May 29

The courtyard of the Liberty was undeniably the perfect setting for Jessica and Jason to tie the knot. All the flowy, enchanting elements of the ceremony came together so nicely there - from the two magnificent topiaries that stood tall on either side of the aisle's entrance to the gorgeous floral arch that Jessica and Jason said their "I do's” under. For the reception, the couple chose a variety of centerpieces which incorporated both high and low styles. The high centerpieces sat elegantly in gold mercury vases and were surrounded by votives, creating a very soft, romantic ambiance for the reception. Jessica and Jason came up with the clever idea to reuse their bridesmaids’ bouquets as … [Read more...]
